Todd Smith and Smith Law Group are pleased to announce that Laura Haley and Jeff Nobles have become name partners in the firm, now known as Smith Haley Nobles.

Since its inception in 2006, the firm has evolved from Smith’s solo practice to an appellate boutique with offices in Austin, Houston, and the Rio Grande Valley. Haley, who resides near Harlingen, joined the firm in 2014. Nobles came on board and opened the firm’s Houston office in 2017.

“We made this change to reflect Laura’s and Jeff’s experience and caliber as lawyers and their contributions to the firm,” Smith said. “They’re all-in on our culture, which focuses on excellence, efficiency, and teamwork. I’m excited about where we can take the firm from here.”

Haley commented, “I’m so honored to be partners with people I respect and trust. I’ve known Todd and Jeff for many years. They are not only great colleagues and advocates. They are good people.”

Nobles added, “At this stage of my career, my happiness as an appellate lawyer is more important to me that it’s ever been, and I couldn’t be happier working in any other firm. My partners understand appellate work and how it’s different from trial litigation. We have great technology that permits us to discuss our cases and our business face to face, so we’re able to brainstorm and support each other. Our clients benefit from the collaboration and efficiency that’s enabled by our technology.”

The firm’s website (www.appealsplus.com) has been updated to reflect the change. A new website will go live later this year.[/vc_column_text][/vc_column][/vc_row]
